Portville Central School’s Arts, Crafts, & Antiques Show returns as a one day, indoor event. It will be held at the Portville High School and will feature art, crafts, antiques and food on Saturday, November 1st from 10:00am-5:00pm.

Proceeds collected directly benefit the students of Portville Central School in the form of achievement awards and student scholarships.

This Veterans Day, November 11th from 2-4 pm, honor our heroes by joining the Citizens Advocating Memorial Preservation (C.A.M.P) and historian Ed Brodbeck for a FREE special event at the Civil War Memorial on the corner of Court and Seventh in Little Valley. As they pay tribute to those who have served our nation, Ed Brodbeck will bring history to life, portraying a typical Union soldier from the Civil War.

Celebrate the Holiday Season with a Living Nativity, complete with a camel, all in the Village. Ellicottville's A Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided. The tradition has continued on for the past 37 years.

Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels Free Tours available on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Fridays of the month. No reservations necessary. Come and discover the beauty of the southern tier's Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels in Olean, NY.  The 33 Munich-style windows are some of the finest domestically-produced windows in the nation.  Pope Frances designated the church as a Minor Basilica on February 14, 2017 for its exquisite art, architecture and history. Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean.

Kids day at the Fannie Bartlett house is on December 7th from noon -3pm. Kids will have the opportunity to visit with Santa from 1pm -3pm.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

This is the third night of Christmas In Allegany at the Allegany Santa House. This is a free event to come visit Santa in his beautifully decorated Santa House with Elf Shack behind selling basket raffle tickets to help support this yearly tradition.
