Spring is here! Join an Allegany State Park Naturalist for a "Signs of Spring Evening Walk" explaining Allegany State Park's blossoming spring critters on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6:30-8:00pm. Participants will be treated to some early signs of spring that may include display flight of American Woodcock, chorusing amphibians, newly emerged spring plants and much more. Visit the Fannie Bartlett House on July 12th for their "Vintage Fashion Show" event! It will feature "uniforms" of all kinds and period women's dress to go along with military years. Presale tickets are available for $20.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

This Veterans Day, November 11th from 2-4 pm, honor our heroes by joining the Citizens Advocating Memorial Preservation (C.A.M.P) and historian Ed Brodbeck for a FREE special event at the Civil War Memorial on the corner of Court and Seventh in Little Valley. As they pay tribute to those who have served our nation, Ed Brodbeck will bring history to life, portraying a typical Union soldier from the Civil War.

Portville Central School’s Arts, Crafts, & Antiques Show returns as a one day, indoor event. It will be held at the Portville High School and will feature art, crafts, antiques and food on Saturday, November 8th from 10:00am-5:00pm.

Proceeds collected directly benefit the students at Portville Central School in the form of achievement awards and student scholarships.
