First Day Bike. Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at Camp Allegany at 11:00 am on January 1, 2025. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. Eric Jones is an Olean, NY native and celebrated sculptor and caricature artist! He has been featured on The Food Network's Halloween Wars, holds the 2023 Guinness World Record for carving the larges jack-o-lantern, and won Season 3 of The Food Network's Outrageous Pumpkins!
Celebrate the Holiday Season with a Living Nativity, complete with a camel, all in the Village. Ellicottville's A Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided. The tradition has continued on for the past 37 years.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

Portville Central School’s Arts, Crafts, & Antiques Show returns as a one day, indoor event. It will be held at the Portville High School and will feature art, crafts, antiques and food on Saturday, November 2nd from 10:00am-5:00pm.
Proceeds collected directly benefit the students of Portville Central School in the form of achievement awards and student scholarships.

Saturday November 25th starts the first of many days Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting our house.
Santa will be escorted by the Allegany Police and Fire Department to our house, where he will greet all visitors. Basket raffles will be avaliable for people to buy tickets to help support our community event.
