Join the Olean Community Theatre as they present Cabaret- Heroes vs. Villains. An interactive Cabaret Show Experience.

The Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce and city leadership are inviting the community out for a night on the town. Working with the city and members of the business community, the Chamber is announcing “StrOlean,” the event aims to bring folks to the downtown shopping district for an evening of fun. 

Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean, the Friday after Thanksgiving. Watch the Santa Claus Lane Parade before or after touring this beautifully restored mansion built in 1881 with 15 rooms, including a third-floor ballroom.

The historic house will be adorned with Christmas decorations during its annual open house on Friday from 6-9pm. There will be refreshments and raffle baskets, proceeds to benefit the Bartlett House. 

Laugh for the holidays with 'Vickie & Nikie's Holiday Sleigh Ride'

During this celebration of the holiday season, Minnesota style, the duo entertains with sidesplitting interpretations of favorite holiday songs and pop tunes, wacky originals, fun family stories, social commentary, improvisation and audience participation.

The 2026 carnival will be a 4-day event. Enjoy rides, food, and entertainment!

Wednesday- CHIEF’S NIGHT - All area departments are invited to showcase a piece of their apparatus.

Thursday- WATER FIGHT NIGHT - All area departments are encouraged to bring a team or teams to participate. Teams consist of both Junior and Senior members. Registration for the Water Fights will begin at 5:30pm and the fights start at 6:00pm.

Join the Regina A Quick Center staff as they conclude their yearlong celebration with a special evening honoring the center's founders and supporters. The gala will feature a performance by Olean-born, Grammy-nominated artist Calabria Foti, pianist and SBU professor Laura Peterson, Jazz musicians and more.

EVL Trail Fest will be at HoliMont on August 8-10, 2025! There will be camping, biking, music and Food.

Sunday-

Participants are invited to join Allegany State Park educators for a fun ride of 5-7 miles around the Red House area bike path. All ages and bikes are welcome. Please no scooter bikes or training wheels. Helmets are required for all, bring a bike light, water and a sense of adventure as we ride under the first full moon of May. 

Meet at Camp Allegany.

Holiday Valley has announced that their anticipated opening day is November 28- Weather permitting.  Fingers crossed that Mother Nature lets that happen!!

Fasten your sleigh-belts for Gowanda Community Theater's season finale - The Little Town of Christmas! This series of short plays is filled with festive entertainment as part of Christmas in Gowanda 2025!

The Olean Theatre Workshop presents, "I Never Saw a Butterfly", a moving theatrical production that honors the memories of children who perished in the Terezin concentration camp in WWII. Based on their poems and drawings, the play showcases their hope, creativity, and humanity amidst unimaginable suffering, serving as a powerful tribute to their legacy.

Dust off your boots and get ready for a little country flair in the heart of the village! Nashville Nights in Ellicottville brings the spirit of Music City to your favorite mountain town for a weekend of non-stop entertainment.

Come join Santa and Mrs. Claus as they officially light the town's holiday decorations! This festive Annual Santa Claus Lane Parade is held annually on the Friday after Thanksgiving and the traditional kick-off to the holiday season. Santa will be in attendance and light up thousands of lights in Lincoln Park and downtown Olean when he parades through town in celebration.

Get ready for a rocking good time at Allegany State Park on Quaker Beach!
