Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels Free Tours available on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Fridays of the month. No reservations necessary. Come and discover the beauty of the southern tier's Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels in Olean, NY.  The 33 Munich-style windows are some of the finest domestically-produced windows in the nation.  Pope Frances designated the church as a Minor Basilica on February 14, 2017 for its exquisite art, architecture and history. Guests register in the lobby of the Tamarack Club and pick up a passport that features all the locations to visit for drink specials that evening. Registration takes place between 4 - 7PM and 2 Guys Drinking Beer will be playing music in the Tamarack Club lobby. Only $10 to participate.

Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean. The twinkling lights and decorations need extra display time which means the Barlett House is open for extended hours.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

Join instructor, Abby Zickefoose, on Tuesday, September 16th & 30th from 6-8pm for a two-part class in ceramic decor at the Tri-County Arts Council. 

In this class you get the chance to create a 6"x6" ceramic decoration with a cute cozy reading nook scene. You get to choose the theme whether you choose a fall or Halloween theme or keep it simple for all year round.

Music in the Park Returns July 25th, 2024 featuring Kokomo Time Band

Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean, the Friday after Thanksgiving. Watch the Santa Claus Lane Parade before or after touring this beautifully restored mansion built in 1881 with 15 rooms, including a third-floor ballroom.

The historic house will be adorned with Christmas decorations during its annual open house on Friday from 6-9pm. There will be refreshments and raffle baskets, proceeds to benefit the Bartlett House.
