6th Annual PUMP & RUN
The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on February 15-16, June 28-29, September 27, and November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in their lives to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite, and the exhilaration of the catch!
Ellicottville was named in honor of Joseph Ellicott, an agent of the Holland Land Company, was formed from Ischua in 1820. A portion of Ashford and East Otto were taken in 1824, and 1858 respectively.
As the leaves start to change and a crispness fills the air, there’s an undeniable excitement that comes with the arrival of fall!
As autumn breezes in and the leaves begin to paint the landscape in hues of gold and crimson, there's one destination that captures the essence of the season like no other: Pumpkinville.
