Barker Museum's Archivist, Catherine Oag-Miller will lead the presentation. She has extensive knowledge of people and happenings of the local areas and is known for giving an engaging presentation. For those of you who may have Holland Land Co. on your Deed, bring a notebook and enjoy hearing Ms. Oag-Miller at the 1836 Church in Leon, NY. Light refreshments will be served.

The Tri-County Arts Council invites you to a Ceramic Village Workshop on October 12th and October 26th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Join Violet Nolder for this beginner-friendly hand-building class where you’ll create a charming village house. You can choose to make it Fall or Christmas themed! In the first session on October 12th, you’ll construct the house, and in the second session on October 26th, you'll decorate it. Ages 14 and up are welcome.

Ed.Simone performs a unique, one-man show of 'A Christmas Carol'

In this solo performance, Simone, an actor and voice artist, brings all the familiar Dickens characters vividly to life: Jacob Marley, the Cratchits, the Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Future, Old Fezziwig and, of course, Scrooge himself.  In a little over an hour, Simone embodies all these characters and tells the beloved story through the eyes of a Londoner who knew them all.

The performance is presented in association with the Tri County Arts Council.
