New York's State Parks and Historic Sites celebrates our Centennial in 2024, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of our parks and sites system. Help us kick off this yearlong celebration and get your New Year off to a great start with a hike in Allegany State Park along the newly finished Quaker Run Area Multi-Use Trail.

Get ready for a sweet summer treat!  Join Buffalo Cake Pops at Pour Taproom in Ellicottville, NY on Thursday, August 14th from 6pm-8pm for a Tropical Summer Sugar Cookie Decorating Class!  

In this 2-hour class, you'll learn the art of sugar cookie decorating with a luau theme. You'll receive 6 cookies and step-by-step guidance on techniques like royal icing, wet-on-wet designs, and texture creation. Plus, take home their royal icing recipe to practice your new skills!

Join Allegany State Park for a special evening with guest presenter Michelle Miller, Mohawk-Turtle, at Camp Allegany on November 15th, starting at 5:30pm. Experience the tradition of cooking over the coals, a practice the Seneca have embraced for centuries. Enjoy delicious food, captivating stories, and a walk under the Beaver Full Moon, all while celebrating Indigenous identity and culture.

Holiday Valley Snowsports School is featuring the 10th annual YOUR TURN women's clinic on Wednesday and Thursday, January 24 and 25, 2024 led by Lisa Ballard, a widely acclaimed coach and ski racer and assisted by several of Holiday Valley's finest women instructors. Intermediate skiers who can ski the blue squares through advanced skiers who want to take their skiing to the next level will benefit from this clinic. Lincoln Park will be transformed into a holiday haven as the Jingle Bell Jubilee returns on December 13 from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., bringing the magic of a European-style holiday market to the heart of Downtown Olean. This festive event promises fun for the whole family with local artisan vendors, food, drinks, music, and special activities that will make attendees feel like they've stepped into a Hallmark movie.
