Celebrate New York State's Path through History Weekend with a presentation about the Holland Land Company at the Leon Historical Society on June 15th at 11am. Barker Museum's Archivist, Catherine Oag-Miller will lead the presentation. She has extensive knowledge of people and happenings of the local areas and is known for giving an engaging presentation. For those of you who may have Holland Land Co. on your Deed, bring a notebook and enjoy hearing Ms. Oag-Miller at the 1836 Church in Leon, NY. Light refreshments will be served.

The Haunted Hinsdale House presents this exclusive Overnight Ghost Hunt at 8pm and it will run until 9am the next day. Your all inclusive experience will include a tour of the grounds and inside the historic building. You will get history and stories from your guide, as well as use of some ghost hunting equipment to see if we can connect with the other side. Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean.

Kids day at the Fannie Bartlett house is on December 6th from noon -3pm. Kids will have the opportunity to visit with Santa from 1pm -3pm.

Working with the city and members of the business community, the Chamber is announcing “StrOlean,” the event aims to bring folks to the downtown shopping district for an evening of fun.
