The Haunted Hinsdale House presents this exclusive Overnight Ghost Hunt at 8pm and it will run until 9am the next day. Celebrate the Holiday Season with a Living Nativity, complete with a camel, all in the Village. The Ellicottville  A Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided. The tradition has continued on for the past 36 years.

If you’re a first responder, enjoy a free roundtrip train ride from Gowanda, NY, to South Dayton and back. A 30-minute layover in the village of South Dayton lets you explore the vendors in the area, such as farmers, baked goods, and crafts. All first responders ride for free!

It's not your average craft show! All vendors at this event are local business owners, manufacturers, artisans, or crafters from Cattaraugus County.

Join Gowanda's Historic Hollywood Theater on Friday, April 17th, starting at 4pm for a black-tie evening of classic Hollywood glamour to kick off the 100th year of the theater! 

The night will feature a catered cocktail hour in The Old Bank and a night of jazz with the Springville Jazz Orchestra.

Single - $60, includes: 2 free drink tickets, cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres, and red carpet admission. 

A pair of tickets are $100 - includes all the above perks per person. 

Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 17th from noon to 4 pm for the 11th Annual Cruising Against Cancer Car and Craft Show located at the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds! All proceeds will benefit the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation.

Want to work off some of the turkey or treats; or just spend some time outdoors with other biking families? Join us as we take an evening ride along the Red House Bike Path. Meet at Camp Allegany at 6:15 pm with the ride starting at 6:30 pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult and wear a helmet.  You do not have to have a fat bike for this ride, but you will need a headlamp or a bike light. Please, no balance bikes, or bikes with training wheels.

Warrior Fitness & Wellness will be hosting The Ellicottville Turkey Trot! Start your  turkey day with your community at the Ellicottville Turkey Trot! 

• Run/walk for all fitness levels
• Costumes encouraged
• Food drive for local food banks

$20 registration. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ellicottville Playground. 

Join Ellicottville Distillery as they celebrate the last day of 2023 with their annual "Liquor Mile" at on Sunday December 31st!

Distillery opens and registration for runners starts at 11am. Run starts at 12pm. It is $25 a runner to enter the 5k followed by the Liquor Mile which is $15. $35 fee if you are planning on doing both the 5K & Liquor Mile.

All proceeds will be donated to Oishei Children’s hospital.

After every quarter of a mile you get a miniature cocktail! 1 mile run + 4 drinks!
