Celebrate the Holiday Season with a Living Nativity, complete with a camel, all in the Village. Ellicottville's A Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided. The tradition has continued on for the past 37 years.

The New York Times says it is like being “transported to a scene from an old black and white Christmas movie.” As we start thinking of the Jolly Old Elf himself, why not come down to see what the fuss is all about the entire month!

Join Ellicottville Distillery on Saturday, May 4th as they celebrate the Kentucky Derby! They will be open at 12pm. View the Kentucky Derby live in their tasting room, featuring their own "KenDucky Derby" in the local creek, and live music with Porcelain Train from 3pm-6pm! Wear your favorite derby hat!

EVL Trail Fest will be at HoliMont on August 8-10, 2025! There will be camping, biking, music and Food.
