Guest presenter, Michelle Miller, has lived on the Seneca Allegany Territory since 1996. Seneca was not her first or even third language, but it has now become her heritage language. The culture and history of the Seneca have now become part of her as well as her children who are from the territory.

Your Turn Women's Ski Clinic at Holiday Valley Resort

Holiday Valley Snowsports School is featuring the 10th annual YOUR TURN women's clinic on Wednesday and Thursday, January 24 and 25, 2024 led by Lisa Ballard, a widely acclaimed coach and ski racer and assisted by several of Holiday Valley's finest women instructors. Intermediate skiers who can ski the blue squares through advanced skiers who want to take their skiing to the next level will benefit from this clinic. The clinic will begin at 8AM with registration and breakfast. Pre-registration is advised as attendance is limited. Questions, call 716-699-3506.

Perhaps a little known fact is that Ray Evans, co-lyricist of the Christmas Classic was a native of Salamanca, NY.  Salamanca knows it however, and honors him each year with the Silver Bells Festival.  Now there's one more way he is forever remembered in the town in which he was born and raised i
