Join Allegany State Park on Saturday, September 27th from 9:00am-2:30pm at the Red House side of the park for a celebration of 20 years of National Public Lands Day! This nationwide event brings people together to give back to public lands through volunteer service projects. 

Event Details: 

- Check-in/Registration: 9:00-9:30am at the Beehunter picnic shelter 

- Service Projects: 9:30am-12:30pm 

Get ready to laugh until your sides hurt! The Double Chuckle Comedy Tour, starring the hilarious Patrick Madison and featuring the witty Daniel McGinnis, is coming to Wildwood Bar and Grill on Saturday, March 8th at 8:00 PM. Join in for a night of non-stop entertainment with some of the best comedians around. Admission is only $5.00, so grab your friends and come enjoy an unforgettable evening of comedy!

The Haunted Hinsdale House presents this exclusive Overnight Ghost Hunt! Your all-inclusive experience will include a tour of the grounds and inside the historic building. You will get history and stories from your guide, as well as use of some ghost hunting equipment to see if we can connect with the other side. If you have your own ghost hunting equipment, they highly recommend that you bring it. 

Please bring a flashlight and wear appropriate clothing for ghost hunting.

Get Ready for a Fun Ride!  Join Allegany State Park for a Bike Rodeo on July 17th at the Red House Picnic Shelter from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.! 

Bring your little cyclists for an afternoon of fun and skill-building at our specially designed bike course. Our Bike Rodeo is the perfect place for kids to test their bike handling skills, build confidence, and have a blast!  

What to Expect:

Immerse yourself in the holiday magic at Gowanda's Historic Hollywood Theatre on December 7th, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with a spectacular performance by The Springville Jazz Orchestra.

Come join in for an afternoon of festive tunes and joyful moments!

In this class, you will create a needle felted valentine themed garland using wool roving. The technique you will be using involves repeatedly poking a needle through the felt to compact the wool. You will be using heart-shaped cookie cutters to guide you in shaping the wool. You will then attach your hearts and beads onto the garland strand. The length of your finished garland will depend on how many hearts and beads you can make during the class time, and on how you choose to space them apart on the strand.

Test your knowledge with a fun-filled evening of trivia on Thursday, October 2 at 6:30pm. Bring your best team and enjoy discounted brews and bites while you play!

This is the third night of Christmas In Allegany at the Allegany Santa House. This is a free event to come visit Santa in his beautifully decorated Santa House with Elf Shack behind selling basket raffle tickets to help support this yearly tradition.

Saturday November 25th starts the first of many days Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting our house.

Santa will be escorted by the Allegany Police and Fire Department to our house, where he will greet all visitors. Basket raffles will be avaliable for people to buy tickets to help support our community event.

Jamestown Paranormal will be hosting Paracon '24 (a Paranormal Convention) Saturday, September 28th from 12-6pm at Gowanda's historic Hollywood Theater. 

Admission is $5/person at the door, all ages welcome!
