After bursting onto scene as the Season 10 winner of “American Idol,” he quickly won the hearts of critics and audiences alike, with his deep voice and traditional Country style. A string of impressive hits soon followed including “Five More Minutes,” “In Between,” and “Damn Straight.” Known for his crooning melodies and downhome Southern charm, this North Carolina native has become a respected figure in Country music.
