The Challenger Learning Center invites kids and parents to dress up as your favorite wizard and participate in over 30 STEM activities together! Kids ages 5-10 are invited to attend, with a parent, in challenges of "Follow the spiders", "Sorting Hat", "Quidditch", "Magical Creatures Class", and "Charms Class" as well as other activities of "pin the sock on Dobby", face painting, and more!

The Easter Bunny hiding Easter Eggs for children is a tradition that has been around for generations. Snoopy, the Easter Beagle, delivering Easter Eggs is a much more recent occurrence. Due to damage received over the last two winters, the Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary will only be open for guided tours one day in June and one day in July. Tours will be of all the birds in the beautiful landscaped park and run from 2-5pm.
Grab your lawn chairs and head to Allegany State Park’s Quaker Beach area to celebrate our nation’s independence! The fun starts at 2:00 p.m. on July 3rd with a chicken barbecue (until sold out). Later on, listen to live music, enjoy vendors and spend time at the beach!
