Get out and challenge yourself by Mountain Biking in Western New York! The Enchanted Mountains has over 140 miles of mountain biking trails. There are mountain biking events in the spring, summer and autumn months throughout the hills.

Places to Go Mountain Biking

We are going to start with the largest mountain bike trail system in the Enchanted Mountains ... the MTB trails in New York State Forest connecting to the MTB trails at two ski resorts in Ellicottville, NY.

HoliMont Bike Park

HoliMont currently has 25 mountain bike trails that make up over 14 miles of track and more in the works! They connect to over 35 miles of trails, including the IMBA Epic Ellicottville Loop.

Lift Service

Holiday Valley

Explore picturesque trails weaving across the ski slopes, ideal for both beginner and intermediate riders. Plus, take advantage of direct access to 35 miles of outstanding cross-country routes in McCarty State Forest.

Lift Service

Mountain bike lifts every Saturday and Sunday from the end of June through mid-October, so you can load your bike onto the Spruce Lake chairlift and hit the mountain trails. Learn more about mountain biking around Holiday Valley Resort.

This is one big network of trails through Ellicottville, Great Valley and Little Valley that are all linked together.

MTB at Allegany State Park

Allegany State Park is the largest state park in New York State, and it is a great place for mountain biking beginners with both double and singletrack. There are over 20 miles of dedicated trails.
