Allegany State Park Open except Beehunter Trail (closed due to flooding).

Ashford Snowmobile Club – Open.  Rough in a few spots. 

Elibomwons (Randolph) -  Open but note caution areas: Report on swamp rd dike. The water has gone down but it is covered by a 3” layer of glare ice that tips towards the big ditch on the south side. It is not safe to cross and has been ribboned off on both ends. With that being said there is no route through Randolph unless you go towards steamburg and take c1 towards the truck stop.  A word of caution. There is still a lot of water at goodwins landing and the Schimek bridge. Report from goodwins this morn is 3 feet plus with ice on top. Swamp rd and Kennedy trail I’m still waiting on a report. C2 trail is still closed. Also with the warm up for the weekend we will be closing our trails Saturday morning at sunup. This is just a heads up for anyone thinkin of making weekend plans.

Enchanted Mountains Border Riders (Limestone) – The trail from Rocking Ricks (Bailey Dr)to the park is now open. It is still thin in spots and un-groomed.  The trail from Rocking Ricks to Chipmunk will remain closed due to land owner issues.. Ride safe and stay right. 

Franklinville Snowmobile Club - Trails are now open. The water has mostly receded. There’s is some very icy spots. Use extreme caution. Very little base. Remember go slow in the village and stay off sidewalks.  Early heads up. With the low snow conditions we may be forced to close trails Saturday with the warm temps. Get out while you can and enjoy the trails. Just take it easy. There’s lots of icy spots.

Portville Snowmobile Club -  Trails are open but ride cautiously. 

Snowbounders (Little Valley) - THE TRAILS ARE NOW OPEN!!!!!! Please use caution and good judgement. The trail to South Dayton remains closed until further notice. Thank you for your patience!!!! Go hit the trails. Stay safe, stay right, and respect landowners by staying on the trail!!!

Southern Tier SnowDrifters – Closed.

WNY Snowmobile Club of Boston - We are OPENING LIMITED our 60 miles, so trails get packed down and water holes get opened up before the next few inches of snowfall forecasted tomorrow. Please beware of ice bridges which may have partially melted and other obstacles.

If the conditions are right, Snowmobile Trails open the day after hunting season ends.  This year, trails are tentitively scheduled to open on December 20, 2017!

Our gorgeous Enchanted Mountains is home to Allegany State Park, considered the largest park in New York State and the third largest park in the nation.  A number of cabins line the trails and are easily accessible and affordable to everyone - just in case you'd like to extend your stay. 

Try the new Group Camp 5, perfect for your snowmobile club.  Houses up to 72 people in 18 newly remodeled cabins complete with table, benches, heater, 4 bunk style beds and space to breathe.  Also in Camp is a mess hall with 14 benches, 3 upright refrigerators, one freezer and everything you need to make your meals.  The facilities are worth mentioning as well, 7 individual showers, three of them being handicap accessible.  Call 1 800 456-2267. 

Whether you're riding through Allegany State Park's popular Thunder Rocks, or you're enjoying the open trails and the serene landscape views, there's days worth of experience and adventure to be had.  The park is considered one of the most well-groomed areas to snowmobile and enjoy everything that winter in Cattaraugus County has to offer.  So don't miss out!

From the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV):

If you have a current, valid NYSSA voucher, the fee for your registration is $45.00.

If you do not have a valid NYSSA voucher, the fee is $100.

The DMV prefers that you register your snowmobile by bringing your NYSSA Snowmobile Club Voucher to one of the county's three DMVs: Little Valley, Delevan, or Olean.

Allegany State Park has over 35 miles of Cross Country skiing trails, 18 hiking trails and 5.6 miles of paved multi-use trails (horseback riding, snowmobiling and more) around Red House Lake area. 3 campground areas with over 375 cabins.
