Ashford, New York

The Town of Ashford and the Cattaraugus Creek are on the county's northern border among the beautiful Enchanted Mountains of Cattaraugus County. 

The hamlet of West Valley is located in the town of Ashford. 

Rt. 219 runs north/south through Ashford.

Ashford is known for being home to Griffis Sculpture Park, a 400 acre park which holds the distinction of being America’s largest and oldest sculpture park. This park features over 250 large scale sculptures dispersed through miles of hiking trails.

Ashford is also known for its abundance of snowmobile trails which link to Erie County snowmobile trails to the north.

We're so glad this store reopened!  This is the most convenient stop for hot dogs, pizza, gas for your snowmobile or ice for your summer party!  Just a heads up - she offers makes carrot cake and eclaire cake made from scratch!!  yummmmmmm

Favorite stop for snowmobilers looking for a hot meal along the snowmobile trails.  Drive right up to the door!

Just a couple minutes from Griffis Sculpture Park and 15 minutes north of Ellicottville.

Miner’s Cabin in Franklinville was built by a miner that returned home after making it good during the gold rush era of the west coast. The building is not a cabin either but a three story house of Queen Anne design.
