The Largest New York State Park is Allegany State Park which is the 3rd largest in the nation with 65,000 acres (97 square miles) and lots of trails. Allegany State Park has over 35 miles of Cross Country skiing trails, 18 hiking trails and 5.6 miles of paved multi-use trails (horseback riding, snowmobiling and more) around Red House Lake area. 3 campground areas with over 375 cabins.

6 Hours of Power rolls into town on Sunday, July 15th 2012 at the Holiday Valley Mountain Sports Center in Ellicottville, New York.
Holiday Valley’s Mountain Sports Center plays host to athletes from around the country in this solo and two-person tag-team mountain bike race format. Endurance cyclists compete for awards and prizes on a 10-mile course featuring a taste of all the best single track other venues dream of. From 10am to 4pm soloists and tag teams vie to complete the most laps for the coveted winners circle. Post-race pasta party, door prizes, awards and a rock-solid thumping venue provide the perfect setting for riders to flex their legs and lungs on a world-class course.
Pre-register to guarantee your place on the starting line or show up on race-day to enter.
Race Format: 9:45am all bikes in racks. 10am Start. Last lap start allowed at 4pm. Race officially ends at 6pm. Pasta party starts at 4:30pm.
