Pennyroyal Race Track Stock Car Display
Sundays at the Pennyroyal Race Track in Leon were the place to be in the 1940s and 1950s. Part of the Path thru History Weekends, the Leon Historical Museum and Society will be hosting a replica of an Old Stock Car. Did you know there used to be a dirt race track in Leon? How about two race car drivers making it all the way from the Pennyroyal Race Track to NASCAR? Come find out more and see the Old Stock Car and Display, then listen to how this Race Track was started, presented by Fred and Freda Milliman.
