Yeeehaw!!  An honest-to-goodness rodeo at the home of the Nightmare Hayrides on Sommerville Street, complete with bronco bustin', bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing and stick horse racing for the kids.  

Welcome to the Ellicottville Championship Rodeo, one of the largest IPRA/APRA sanctioned rodeos in the Northeast. Located in the beautiful Enchanted Mountains that surround Ellicottville, NY ... where the road ends and the west begins.  The Ellicottville Championship Rodeo would like to invite you to come out and enjoy the family tradition with a step back in time to wild and western non-stop action.  350+ rodeo athletes will compete in the The Ellicottville Championship Rodeo has a jam packed show for you to see with NINE exciting rodeo events, along with Hardway Buckout Junior Bull Riding, contract acts and clowns.

Show times:  July 5th, 6th and 7th at 7pm with fireworks to follow and a matinee show Sunday, July 8th at 2pm. 

Gates open 2 hours prior to shows so you can check out the vendors.  Plenty of food and drinks available including the ever-popular chicken bbq. 

Kids age 10 and under are invited to bring their own stick horse, saddle up and get ready for the 12th annual Kids Stick Horse Round-Up.  Register 1 hour before each show.  Don't have your own stick horse?  Purchase one at the Rodeo Tack Shop the day of the Rodeo.

Clare Mark is the highest elevation in Cattaraugus County

The highest point in Cattaraugus County is Clare Mark, at 2,430 feet.  This mount, in the Town of Allegany off Chipmunk Road, is privately owned, and does not have public access for hiking.  Nearby attractions are Rock City Park and Allegany State Park.
