Lake Lane has a trout pond and a bass pond and you don't need a license to fish! They offer bass, bullhead, perch, bluegill and various trout. They offer pole rentals and have a shop where you can purchase bait, nitecrawlers and essentials. For those of you who don't like to clean your fish, they'll do it for you! They have a rifle range, a bow range and a shotgun range. Hunting is available during seasons. The highest point in Cattaraugus County is Clare Mark, at 2,430 feet. This mount, in the Town of Allegany off Chipmunk Road, is privately owned, and does not have public access for hiking. Nearby attractions are Rock City Park and Allegany State Park.
