Gowanda's Fire Department is hosting a Trout Fishing Derby October 19-20!
- Saturday, October 19- 7:00am-6:00pm
- Sunday, October 20- 7:00am-4:00pm
Fishing will take place within the Village of Gowanda, within the boundaries of Cattaraugus Creek.
There will be stocked tagged trout released in the Cattaraugus Creek with cash and merchandise prizes that correspond with each tag number on the trout.
All participants can register online or by mail.
Cost to enter:
- Adult 16 and over- $20
- Youth 10-15- $10
- 9 and under- FREE
All NYS and Federal Laws will be followed for the event.
