Run Club with ASP

If you’re looking to get ready for 5K’s and marathons, shed some winter weight, or just enjoy being out of the house, the time is now! Walking or running in nature reduces stress hormones and allows the brain to refocus and reset.

Join educators from Allegany State Park for a walk, run, or jog at your own pace on the Pat McGee Trail. They will meet at the Pat McGee Parking & Picnic Area gazebo on June 8, 15, and 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The distance of the walk is set by your own pace — you can go as slow or fast as you’d like! Join ASP to add some movement to your week, take in nature on the trail, and make new friends! No matter your skill level or age, you’re welcome to join us.

Wear comfortable clothes for moving, sturdy shoes to walk in, and your choice of water or snack. Registration is not required, and there is no cost to join. Reach out to Jonathan.anderson [at] parks.ny.gov or john.jenkins [at] parks.ny.gov with any questions.
