Storytelling is humanity’s oldest art, and the night of the Summer Solstice is an occasion to celebrate it–supernatural style! On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Griffis Sculpture Park will host “A Night with the Little People!” a relaxed hike through the fields and forests of the Rohr Hill Road section with stops for storytelling out of the Native supernatural traditions of Cattaraugus County.
Led by award-winning author and paranormal researcher Mason Winfield, “A Night with the Little People!” begins with profiles of Six Nations folklore and legends. Then classic tales mix with paranormal reports from contemporary witnesses. Witches, ghosts, curses, shape-shifters, and those curious “Little People”: These woods, hills, and valleys of the Cattaraugus could be more alive than we think! Admission is $25 for adults and $10 for kids 12-7 yrs old and can be purchased in advance at Eventbrite. The event starts at 7:00 p.m. and will last 75 minutes. This is a walking tour, with no seating areas.
