Home » Places African American Center for Cultural Development The African American Center for Cultural Development exists to value, promote and integrate the rich and diverse history and culture of the Southern Tier Region of New York State through the celebration of the talents, lives and history of African Americans in the region. Due to uncontrollable circumstances, the Center's location is currently a mailing address only. The building in which they were located (1801 W. State St.) is being sold and the Center is looking for a new permanent home. Watch their Facebook for events to be held at different locales throughout Olean. Mailing address is 108 S. Eighth St. The Center is still very much alive and going, missing only a physical address. Poetry and Writer’s Workshop Coffee House Every 1st and 3rd Friday of Each Month (come and enjoy the happenings or to show off your reading or musical talent in this free will offering fundraiser.)
