Cross-Country Ski at Allegany State Park

Cross Country Skiing

The Art Roscoe Trail System at Allegany State Park is known as the best cross-country ski trails in Western NY and Northeastern PA. 

There's approximately 24 miles of trails that are groomed on an as-needed basis. All trails begin at the Summit Warming Hut in Allegany State Park.

What does it mean when a location/place is inactive?

When a location is deemed as 'inactive', the location may be inaccessible to the public.

Example A

A place of business may be inactive as we were informed that the business is closed until further notice.

Example B

A location may have had an access road washed away or it is under construction or deemed as dangerous to the public.

The Guerrilla Theatre Project - at Griffis Sculpture Park

Sculpture at Griffis Sculpture Park

There will be three, two-person one act plays performed.

The Guerrilla Theatre Project will arrive at the sculpture park on Friday evening, then proceed to write three brand new one-act plays, audition performers, rehearse and perform the plays - all in 24 hours. The performances will take place at 7:00 p.m. at different locations at the Mill Valley Road section of the park.
