HO! HO! HO! The holidays are right around the corner, and there's no better way to get into the spirit than by spending a fun-filled day at Allegany State Park for a Saturday with Santa on Saturday December 6th from 11:00am - 3:00pm. 

Join the Environmental Education Department for a festive family event featuring crafts, games, photos with Santa, and plenty of holiday cheer. 

Join us on a fun and festive Christmas train ride where the kids get to meet Santa! He might even have gifts for all the boys and girls!

All trips have an on-board cash sale concession.

Join the Onöhsagwë: de’ Cultural Center for a day of shopping. Native artists and craftspeople will be set up indoors, throughout the building. Free and open to the public. Museum admission is free for the day.

Explore the fascinating world of fungi with Pfeiffer Nature Center on September 15th at 5:30pm. 

The guided walk will help you identify and learn about the various mushrooms you'll find in the forest. 

All skill levels welcome! Come discover the hidden wonders of the fungal kingdom.

This 2-day clinic is perfect for the intermediate to advanced-level woman skier who wants to have more control, more confidence and more fun with their skiing!

Several Holiday Valley's women instructors lead the groups through free skiing, drills, non-intimidating race training, and video analysis.

Women's ski demos are included.

Lisa Ballard is a renowned coach and former US Ski Team member who has a unique way of presenting the technical aspects of good skiing in a consise and easy to understand method. Lisa and several Holiday Valley's women instructors lead the groups through free skiing, drills, non-intimidating race training and video analysis.  Women's ski demos are included.

Feel good this Thanksgiving by starting your day with a non-timed 5K at St. Bonavenure University with other passionate runners and walkers! Continue that feel good feeling by knowing that the registration fee supports the local food pantry and the Every Kid Deserves the Y fund!

Registration is 8:00am - 8:45am at Murphy Hall. Race starts at 9:00am.

Join Portville for a fun and exciting Christmas Celebration!

There will be a Christmas Parade and Park Lighting Celebration. The parade will start at the Portville School and make its way down to Pioneer Park where Santa will light the park.

Food trucks, live music, and visits with Santa will be available!

If you’re a first responder, enjoy a free roundtrip train ride from Gowanda, NY, to South Dayton and back. A 30-minute layover in the village of South Dayton lets you explore the vendors in the area, such as farmers, baked goods, and crafts. All first responders ride for free!

Music in the Park Returns July 25th, 2024 featuring Kokomo Time Band
