The Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce and city leadership are inviting the community out for a night on the town. Working with the city and members of the business community, the Chamber is announcing “StrOlean,” the event aims to bring folks to the downtown shopping district for an evening of fun. 

Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean.

Kids day at the Fannie Bartlett house is on December 7th from noon -3pm. Kids will have the opportunity to visit with Santa from 1pm -3pm.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

Come help start off the holiday season downtown with local merchants, train rides all day, Annual tree lighting ceremony, Holiday Spirit Parade and a festive atmosphere for the whole family. Of course we can not forget that Santa and all his helpers will be there to help us celebrate this joyous time of year! Mark your calendars! 

Visit the Fannie Bartlett House on July 12th for their "Vintage Fashion Show" event! It will feature "uniforms" of all kinds and period women's dress to go along with military years. Presale tickets are available for $20.

Call the Fannie Bartlett House to sign up for their Spring Psychic Fair as there are limited spots available. The 2025 Psychic Fair will be held on Saturday, May 17th.
