Jamestown Paranormal will be hosting Paracon '24 (a Paranormal Convention) Saturday, September 28th from 12-6pm at Gowanda's historic Hollywood Theater. 

Admission is $5/person at the door, all ages welcome!

Escape to the serene surroundings of Burdick Blueberries on July 31st at 6:00pm, for an unforgettable evening of yoga and nature! 

Join Laura Solly, Ellicottville-based yoga instructor, for an all-levels outdoor yoga session nestled in the picturesque blueberry patch, overlooking the beautiful fields. Breathe deeply, stretch out, and reconnect with nature as you savor the sweetness of summer. 

Before or after class, enjoy pick-your-own blueberries and flowers, and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. 

Come out to Allegany State Park on October 5th at 9:30am to experience "Autumn in Allegany"! 

This FREE event will be held in the Red House Area of the park at the Administration Building and is perfect for all ages! Participants will learn basic watercolor techniques and create their own masterpieces under the guidance of naturalists. All materials are provided, so you just need to bring your creativity!

Come down to Bicentennial Park on Erie St. in Little Valley Thursday, August 22nd for the final "Music in the Park" this summer hosted by Friends of Little Valley along with a cornhole tournament hosted by $lick $hooters Cornhole! 

Music begins at 6pm, featuring the "Iron Eyes Experience", a local three piece group based out of Salamanca. The band is well known for their rock and blues style that can be heard echoing throughout the enchanted mountains of Cattaraugus County!

Join Citizens Preparedness Corps on November 22nd at 1:00pm in the Camp Allegany Classroom for a free training session. Learn how to make a family emergency plan, build a go-bag, and stay safe during natural disasters.

SerenHippity will be your guide, helping you channel your creativity into crafting a unique wire-bent Heart Catcher that will cast beautiful rainbow prisms in your home or garden.

The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on February 15-16, June 28-29, September 27, and November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in their lives to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite, and the exhilaration of the catch!
