The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on February 15-16, June 28-29, September 27, and November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in their lives to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite, and the exhilaration of the catch!

Come out to Allegany State Park on October 5th at 9:30am to experience "Autumn in Allegany"! 

This FREE event will be held in the Red House Area of the park at the Administration Building and is perfect for all ages! Participants will learn basic watercolor techniques and create their own masterpieces under the guidance of naturalists. All materials are provided, so you just need to bring your creativity!

Join in for a one day craft show to get into the Christmas Spirit! There will be over 25 different vendors to shop from, where you can find a little bit of everything. It is always a great time to attend a craft and vendor show!

This event is free to the public. You will find a variety of items to shop from! Candles, tumblers, keychains, plants, soaps, baked goods, 3d printed items, crochet and knitted items, and so much more!

There will be over Vendors, Chinese Auction, and food for sale.

Escape to the serene surroundings of Burdick Blueberries on July 31st at 6:00pm, for an unforgettable evening of yoga and nature! 

Join Laura Solly, Ellicottville-based yoga instructor, for an all-levels outdoor yoga session nestled in the picturesque blueberry patch, overlooking the beautiful fields. Breathe deeply, stretch out, and reconnect with nature as you savor the sweetness of summer. 

Before or after class, enjoy pick-your-own blueberries and flowers, and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. 

Join the Tri-County Arts Council on April 19th, 2025, for a vibrant and interactive Tie-Dye Workshop, led by instructor SerenHippity! In this 2-hour session, discover the art of creating stunning tie-dye designs on your very own tote bag. Learn the essentials of fabric preservation, basic tying techniques and tie-dye care.

Come out and experience Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Farm on Sunday, August 24th from 12-4 pm for a fun-filled afternoon of music, food, and feathered friends! The Rustic Ramblers, featuring Gene Hilts on steel guitar, will be performing live!

Get ready for an unforgettable fall trail adventure on Saturday, October 25th starting at Art Roscoe Trailhead at Allegany State Park.

The Summit 50/50, hosted by Reluctant Runner Racing, is a Trail Sisters approved ultra trail race in the stunning summit of Allegany State Park, New York's largest and most picturesque state park. Experience crisp autumn air, brilliant foliage, and a course that will push your limits in all the best ways. 

Join Jean Benson on June 7th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for a fun and creative Dutch Pour Painting class! Create Your Own Masterpiece using fluid acrylic paint and a unique blowing technique that will create dynamic, abstract patterns on a 12x12 canvas.
