Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean. The twinkling lights and decorations need extra display time which means the Barlett House is open for extended hours.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.

Join in for a two day craft show to get into the Christmas Spirit! There will be over 25 different vendors to shop from, where you can find a little bit of everything. It is always a great time to attend a craft and vendor show!

This Veterans Day, November 11th from 2-4 pm, honor our heroes by joining the Citizens Advocating Memorial Preservation (C.A.M.P) and historian Ed Brodbeck for a FREE special event at the Civil War Memorial on the corner of Court and Seventh in Little Valley. As they pay tribute to those who have served our nation, Ed Brodbeck will bring history to life, portraying a typical Union soldier from the Civil War.

One of the best ways to describe the downtown of Ellicottville has been as something Norman Rockwell would have conjured up. The New York Times says it is like being “transported to a scene from an old black and white Christmas movie.” Kick off the Holiday Season with us! HoliMont Contractor’s Day is an event filled with many fun activities that take place on and off the slopes.  This year’s activities include the 36th annual Dave Pitkin Memorial Ski Race, dedicated to him to commemorate his enduring spirit, his contributions to the HoliMont Racing Club, and his part in creating the racing hill, Our infamous Bombardier Ball Drop, Lunch provided by Dina’s at the Mont, A vendor market, and an Apres Ski Party. This event is sponsored by many local businesses and helps us celebrate and support our local community. Join us for our favorite day of the year!
