Sunset Movie Saturdays are back! 

Grab the whole crew and head to Jefferson Street Park in Salamanca to catch a favorite movie on the 33 foot screen. 

Here is the 2025 Lineup:

May 31st: MineCraft

June 7th: The Wild Robot

June 14th: Mufasa 2024

June 21st: Community Choice Night (Moana 2, Dog Man, Sonic 3)

June 28th: Snow White 2025

All movies will begin at dusk and are weather dependent. 

April calls for spring cleaning, and the Allegany State Park Historical Society invites the community to help get the Quaker Museum and St. John’s Chapel ready for the season on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at 1:00pm!

Lend a hand with some dusting, vacuuming, and light cleaning to freshen up these two historic gems. The cleanup will last approximately 90 minutes. Cleaning supplies like shop vacs, rags, and dusting tools are welcome, though some will be provided on-site.

Come celebrate the proud history and traditions of Native American people at Seneca Allegany Casino. Enjoy traditional Indigenous dances!

The Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino invites music fans to enjoy the power of classic rock under the stars with an outdoor show featuring Deep Purple, with special guest Kansas on Saturday, August 22nd at 7:30pm. 

Get ready to rev up your engines at the South Dayton Tractor Pull on September 14th, 2025, from 9am-5pm for an action-packed day of tractor pulls, excitement, and fun!

• Any year tractor is welcome.
• $5 Admission - Hitch Fee, $10/Class for Pullers
• Scales Open at 10 am - Pull Begins at Noon

Garden Tractor Pull

Join the Olean Historical Society for the 2026 Speaker series, with a presentation by Dana Klein about Native American Arrowheads at 6:30pm on July 20th.

The event will be held outside, so bring your lawn char and meet on the museum's side lawn. If it rains, the event will be held indoors. 

The event will be held at 302 Laurens Street in Olean, NY.

Thursday 6/27: the carnival is open from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM. Water fights are planned for 6:30 PM in front of the fire station. Registration starts at 6:00. The "Sticktights" band will be playing around 7:00 PM.

The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on February 15-16, June 28-29, September 27, and November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in their lives to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite, and the exhilaration of the catch!

There will be three, two-person one act plays performed.

The Guerrilla Theatre Project will arrive at the sculpture park on Friday evening, then proceed to write three brand new one-act plays, audition performers, rehearse and perform the plays - all in 24 hours. The performances will take place at 7:00 p.m. at different locations at the Mill Valley Road section of the park.
