Celebrate the Holiday Season with a Living Nativity, complete with a camel, all in the Village. Ellicottville's A Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided. The tradition has continued on for the past 37 years.

Join us for the 13th annual W.I.L.M.A. (We Invite Local Manufacturers & Artisans) event, happening at the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds on October 18th and 19th, 2025.

What is WILMA Woolly Bear Weekend?

It's not your average craft show! All vendors at this event are local business owners, manufacturers, artisans, or crafters from Cattaraugus County.

At 5:30pm on November 22nd, enjoy and evening of Seneca cooking, culture, and stories at Camp Allegany. 

Guest presenter, Michelle Miller, has lived on the Seneca Allegany Territory since 1996. Seneca was not her first or even third language, but it has now become her heritage language. The culture and history of the Seneca have now become part of her as well as her children who are from the territory.
