Erie Cattaraugus Rail Trail (ECRT) is proud to announce the return of the EA2EVL Fondo—the region’s premier 42-mile non-competitive charity bike ride—on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 10 a.m. Now in its sixth year, the ride continues its tradition of connecting communities and cycling enthusiasts, launching from 42 North Brewing in East Aurora.

First Day Hike at Allegany State Park
Discover the history of Allegany State Park- January 1, 2026. This year’s First Day Hike is an easy trek featuring historical and environmental tidbits of information about the features found in this area of the park. Your hike will take you along the Quaker Multiuse trail that conveniently has an entrance at Camp Turner.
At 11:30 a.m. join park educators for a guided hike at Science Lake and learn the history and interesting historical figures of the park. The Historical Society will have the Quaker Museum open from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Ellicottville's 2023 Christmas Stroll
Celebrate the Holiday Season with a Living Nativity, complete with a camel, all in the Village. The Ellicottvilles Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided.
