Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 17th from noon to 4 pm for the 11th Annual Cruising Against Cancer Car and Craft Show located at the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds! All proceeds will benefit the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation. 

This event is rain or shine, in the event of inclement weather, they will move under the barns.

April calls for spring cleaning, and the Allegany State Park Historical Society invites the community to help get the Quaker Museum and St. John’s Chapel ready for the season on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at 1:00pm!

Lend a hand with some dusting, vacuuming, and light cleaning to freshen up these two historic gems. The cleanup will last approximately 90 minutes. Cleaning supplies like shop vacs, rags, and dusting tools are welcome, though some will be provided on-site.

Pfeiffer Nature Center will be hosting a Wildflower Walk on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026 at 2:00 pm. 

Come out and explore the local wildflowers with an easy kid-friendly walk through the fields and forest while learning how to identify blooming plants using field guides on Pfeiffer's Eshelman property on 1420 Yubadam Rd in Portville. 

A $5 donation is appreciated.

Join in on May 3rd, 2025, at the Seneca Allegany Casino Event Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Witness the vibrant culture and creativity through exquisite beadwork, pottery, and other traditional crafts. Olean 1854 is one of two amateur mens soccer teams in Cattaraugus County. Their home games are played at St. Bonaventure University or Olean Intermediate Middle School.
