Come help start off the holiday season downtown with local merchants, train rides all day, Annual tree lighting ceremony, Holiday Spirit Parade and a festive atmosphere for the whole family. Of course we can not forget that Santa and all his helpers will be there to help us celebrate this joyous time of year! Mark your calendars! 

Join the Olean Historical Society for the 2026 Speaker series, with a presentation by Gail Feuchter. She will be speaking on the history of the Fannie Bartlett House at 6:30pm on June 15th.

The event will be held outside, so bring your lawn char and meet on the museum's side lawn. If it rains, the event will be held indoors.

Join the fun at Hunter Hill Farm on November 9th from 10 AM to 2 PM for a festive Christmas Tree Pottery Class with Tara from TShed Pottery!

TShed Pottery, run by Tara, is renowned for its unique and handcrafted pottery pieces. Celebrated for her creativity and quality, Tara’s classes are both educational and enjoyable. She will guide you through the creative process of designing and crafting two unique Christmas trees—one small and one large.

The Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce and city leadership are inviting the community out for a night on the town. Working with the city and members of the business community, the Chamber is announcing “StrOlean,” the event aims to bring folks to the downtown shopping district for an evening of fun. 

Come join Santa and Mrs. Claus as they officially light the town's holiday decorations! This festive Annual Santa Claus Lane Parade is held annually on the Friday after Thanksgiving and the traditional kick-off to the holiday season. Santa will be in attendance and light up thousands of lights in Lincoln Park and downtown Olean when he parades through town in celebration.
