Cross-Country Ski at Allegany State Park

Cross Country Skiing

The Art Roscoe Trail System at Allegany State Park is known as the best cross-country ski trails in Western NY and Northeastern PA. 

There's approximately 24 miles of trails that are groomed on an as-needed basis. All trails begin at the Summit Warming Hut in Allegany State Park.

A string of impressive hits soon followed including “Five More Minutes,” “In Between,” and “Damn Straight.” Known for his crooning melodies and downhome Southern charm, this North Carolina native has become a respected figure in Country music. He also made history as the first Country artist and youngest male artist of any genre to debut a first solo album on Billboard’s Top 200 chart.

Allegany Carnival 2024

Giant Fun Slide at the Allegany Carnival in 2024

Thursday 6/27: the carnival is open from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM. Water fights are planned for 6:30 PM in front of the fire station. Registration starts at 6:00. The "Sticktights" band will be playing around 7:00 PM.
