Join Next Level Mountain Biking for the first "bike" of the year! 

Meet at Camp Allegany at 11am on January 1st, 2026. The pace and length of the ride will be moderate or determined by the riders. Participants may split into two different groups so that no one gets left behind. 

Fat Tire bikes are advised, given the conditions of the trails that may be present.

Join in for a summer-long celebration of community and sound. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the Music in the Park series offers the perfect midweek escape with live performances from a rotating lineup of talented artists. 

Music in the Park is held each Wednesday from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. at the Park Street Gazebo on Park Ave, South Dayton. The music plays regardless of the forecast.

Get ready for the region’s biggest downtown celebration — StrOlean is back and bigger than ever! On Saturday, August 15th, the 100–200 blocks of North Union Street will transform into a vibrant, "pedestrian-only" festival packed with delicious food, shopping, live music, entertainment, and family-friendly fun all day long!

What to Expect-

The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on February 17-18, June 29-30, September 28, and November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in your life to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite and the exhilaration of the catch!
