GET READY TO ROCK! The Gowanda Historic Theatre presents: "Brave Strangers: A Tribute to Bob Seger" on Friday, April 25th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Welcome Brave Strangers, the ultimate Bob Seger tribute band! This incredible group of musicians will take you on a journey through Seger's iconic discography, playing all your favorite hits! Don't miss this unforgettable night of music! 

Tickets are $25! 

Join in for a one day craft show to get into the Christmas Spirit! There will be over 25 different vendors to shop from, where you can find a little bit of everything. It is always a great time to attend a craft and vendor show!

This event is free to the public. You will find a variety of items to shop from! Candles, tumblers, keychains, plants, soaps, baked goods, 3d printed items, crochet and knitted items, and so much more!

There will be over Vendors, Chinese Auction, and food for sale.

HO! HO! HO! The holidays are right around the corner, and there's no better way to get into the spirit than by spending a fun-filled day at Allegany State Park for a Saturday with Santa on Saturday December 6th from 11:00am - 3:00pm. 

Join the Environmental Education Department for a festive family event featuring crafts, games, photos with Santa, and plenty of holiday cheer. 

Be ready before the storm hits! 

Join Citizens Preparedness Corps on November 22nd at 1:00pm in the Camp Allegany Classroom for a free training session. Learn how to make a family emergency plan, build a go-bag, and stay safe during natural disasters. 

Each Family will receive a free preparedness kit! Registration is required: Event Registration

Join Nicole Fair for a basket-weaving class on May 31st, 2025, from 12:00-3:00 pm! Create your own Small Williamsburg Basket in a variety of colors. 

Class Highlights:

During this class you will learn Williamsburg Handle weaving, add decorative touches with twining and cross-back lashing, and choose from various colors for your 5”x5”x8” basket

Ready to Roll? Grab your fat bike and join in for a series of Friday night fun rides this winter at Allegany State Park! These casual group rides are the perfect way to get outside, meet other riders, and enjoy the parks beautiful winter trails under the stars! 

Ride Details:

Save the date for a delightful performance form of the the nation's leading classical/jazz cover artists, Willis Delony! This is sure to be a great performance as he collaborates with regional renowned jazz artists. Get ready to soak up a musical evening filled with beautiful melodies.

Showtime is Friday, March 13th, 2026 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for senior citizens and SBU staff & faculty, and $5 for students.

There will be cake (at 6pm), spooky stories, and a chance to dive into the unknown with Kristie London's gallery reading (at 7:00pm). Then, grab your flashlight and join the investigation!  Proceeds will help the Wildwood Crew raise the roof (literally!) on their garage to fix some needed repairs and will eventually give guests a whole new area to explore.

Come out to Allegany State Park on October 5th at 9:30am to experience "Autumn in Allegany"! 

This FREE event will be held in the Red House Area of the park at the Administration Building and is perfect for all ages! Participants will learn basic watercolor techniques and create their own masterpieces under the guidance of naturalists. All materials are provided, so you just need to bring your creativity!
