Celebrate New York State's Path through History Weekend with a presentation about the Holland Land Company at the Leon Historical Society on June 15th at 11am. Barker Museum's Archivist, Catherine Oag-Miller will lead the presentation. She has extensive knowledge of people and happenings of the local areas and is known for giving an engaging presentation. For those of you who may have Holland Land Co. on your Deed, bring a notebook and enjoy hearing Ms. Oag-Miller at the 1836 Church in Leon, NY. Light refreshments will be served. 

Spring is here and so is the annual spring craft and vendor show! There will be over 35 different vendors to shop from and a chinese auction available. The Lunch Bus, a local favorite food truck will also be at the event! 

Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels Free Tours available on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Fridays of the month. No reservations necessary. Come and discover the beauty of the southern tier's Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels in Olean, NY.  The 33 Munich-style windows are some of the finest domestically-produced windows in the nation.  Pope Frances designated the church as a Minor Basilica on February 14, 2017 for its exquisite art, architecture and history. Join Allegany State Park for a special evening with guest presenter Michelle Miller, Mohawk-Turtle, at Camp Allegany on November 15th, starting at 5:30pm. Experience the tradition of cooking over the coals, a practice the Seneca have embraced for centuries. Enjoy delicious food, captivating stories, and a walk under the Beaver Full Moon, all while celebrating Indigenous identity and culture.

Sip, Snack and splatter some joy at the "Gogh" to the Pumpkin Patch Paint Party in Little Valley, NY.

Join an easy going paint party where no talent is required but you are more than welcome to get creative. You will be guided step by step so you can relax, unwind and enjoy the evening. The paint party is scheduled for August 22nd from 6-8pm and is $42 per painter. There are limited spots so sign up soon.

All supplies are included. Bring a drink and some snacks if you would like, though light refreshments will be provided. This event is intended for ages 13 and up.

With the Thanksgiving holiday less than a week away, Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino is gearing up to start the ensuing holiday season in spectacular fashion.

The Silver Bells Parade will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024 starting at 6:00pm.

This Valentine’s Day Tri-County Arts Council will be having a Paper Flower Bouquet class! It’s a perfect activity to do with your girls, and the flowers you make you’ll be able to keep forever. You will create a bouquet consisting of 5 different types of paper flowers and 2 types of leaves. There will be a total of 15 flowers and 7 leaves. Flowers are made by cutting, folding, and gluing different shapes and colors of flowers together. You will need to supply your own small, sharp pointed scissors for accurate cutting of shapes for this class. 

Join Allegany on September 21st, from 1pm - 3pm!! They will be celebrating with a grand opening party with a ribbon cutting! There will be 50/50s from local sponsors, vendors, live music from Animals in a Cage, and food trucks! They are going to try to have a best trick jam with giveaways!

Head over to Camp Allegany on October 19th at 6:30 PM for a spectacular evening under the stars at Allegany State Park.

Enjoy a night filled with “out of this world” crafts, a chance to learn about the constellations, and the highlight of the evening – watching the meteor shower in the open sky!
