Get ready to lace up your running shoes and celebrate the vibrant autumn season at HoliMont! You're invited to the exciting HoliTrot Fall Festival Trail Run, featuring a Kids Race and a scenic 5k trail run through our beautiful trails.

Race Highlights:

Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels Free Tours available on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Fridays of the month. No reservations necessary. Come and discover the beauty of the southern tier's Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels in Olean, NY.  The 33 Munich-style windows are some of the finest domestically-produced windows in the nation.  Pope Frances designated the church as a Minor Basilica on February 14, 2017 for its exquisite art, architecture and history. The Cabana Bar is the place to hang out this summer, especially on Friday Nights for the Cabana Bar Music Series. With amazing views, vibes, and libations, this covered outdoor bar is a great place to hang out when you're in Ellicottville for the weekend.

If you’re a first responder, enjoy a free roundtrip train ride from Gowanda, NY, to South Dayton and back. A 30-minute layover in the village of South Dayton lets you explore the vendors in the area, such as farmers, baked goods, and crafts. All first responders ride for free!

New Gear’s Eve Bike Ride begins at Camp Allegany on December 31 2024 at 6:00 p.m., with the ride starting at 6:30 p.m. Grab your bike and some friends to join Allegany staff and other fat bike enthusiasts for the last ride of the year. Bring lights, wear warm and reflective gear and a helmet. Participants may be split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. There will be a social to follow the ride in the Rec Hall at Camp Allegany. Bring your own snacks.

Warrior Fitness & Wellness will be hosting The Ellicottville Turkey Trot! Start your turkey day with your community at the Ellicottville Turkey Trot! 

Each year this event gets bigger, better, and more fun… and this year will be no exception. Get ready for:

The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on February 15-16, June 28-29, September 27, and November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in their lives to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite, and the exhilaration of the catch!

This Veterans Day, November 11th from 2-4 pm, honor our heroes by joining the Citizens Advocating Memorial Preservation (C.A.M.P) and historian Ed Brodbeck for a FREE special event at the Civil War Memorial on the corner of Court and Seventh in Little Valley. As they pay tribute to those who have served our nation, Ed Brodbeck will bring history to life, portraying a typical Union soldier from the Civil War.

Join the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts for an exciting community event on Saturday April 26, from 11am - 3pm; featuring a day of music, dance, art activities, and community engagement that is free and open to all ages. Come and experience the collaborative spirit of the Quick Center and its partners!

Mr. Brightside: The Ultimate Killers Experience is the premier tribute band from Niagara Falls, NY, delivering electrifying performances of The Killers’ greatest hits. Fronted by Rob Bilson, we bring the iconic sound and energy of The Killers to life!! This show will be held on Saturda, May 3rd at 7 pm.

Call the Fannie Bartlett House to sign up for their Spring Psychic Fair as there are limited spots available. The 2025 Psychic Fair will be held on Saturday, May 17th.

This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.
