The Portville Historical and Preservation Society is an educational agency, chartered by the Regents of the State of New York. It was established in 1986 in response to renewed interest in the preservation of Portville's past.
An opening reception will be held this Saturday for the current Tri-County Arts Council member show, "A Little Something", perfectly sized for holiday gift giving. Their "Night Lights" event takes place in September and October with performance artists, video projections, and vendors.
The scale-model of the North Union Street features familiar buildings and businesses crafted from gingerbread, icing and candy is currently on display at the Tri-County Arts Council.

Holiday Valley Snowsports School is featuring the 10th annual YOUR TURN women's clinic on Wednesday and Thursday, January 24 and 25, 2024 led by Lisa Ballard, a widely acclaimed coach and ski racer and assisted by several of Holiday Valley's finest women instructors. Intermediate skiers who can ski the blue squares through advanced skiers who want to take their skiing to the next level will benefit from this clinic.
