Celebrate New York State's Path through History Weekend with a presentation about the Holland Land Company at the Leon Historical Society on June 15th at 11am. Barker Museum's Archivist, Catherine Oag-Miller will lead the presentation. She has extensive knowledge of people and happenings of the local areas and is known for giving an engaging presentation. Visit the Fannie Bartlett House on August 16th for their "Pie on the Porch" event! They will have 10 pie themed raffle baskets included a Cutco pie server in each basket!
This Queen Anne-style house was originally built in 1881 by George Foreman, and purchased in 1891 by Frank and Fannie Bartlett for $15,000, a hefty sum for that time, he said. The house features nine rooms decorated in turn-of-the-century Victoriana and seven fireplaces, each different in design and composition.
The Enchanted Mountains Horse Series features an exciting game show on Friday nights, and performance classes on both Saturday and Sunday.
Attendees can enjoy a variety of treats from the food concession stand and explore offerings from various clothing and tack vendors. Additionally, each weekend typically includes at least one charitable fundraiser to support a worthy cause or individual in need.

Lisa Ballard is a renowned coach and former US Ski Team member who has a unique way of presenting the technical aspects of good skiing in a consise and easy to understand method. Lisa and several Holiday Valley's women instructors lead the groups through free skiing, drills, non-intimidating race training and video analysis. Women's ski demos are included.
