Largest NY State Park
The Largest New York State Park is Allegany State Park which is the 3rd largest in the United States of America with 65,000 acres (97 square miles) and many miles of trails. Allegany State Park has over 35 miles of Cross Country skiing trails, 18 hiking trails and 5.6 miles of paved multi-use trails (horseback riding, snowmobiling and more) around Red House Lake area. 3 campground areas with over 375 cabins.

This FREE event will be held in the Red House Area of the park at the Administration Building and is perfect for all ages! Participants will learn basic watercolor techniques and create their own masterpieces under the guidance of naturalists. All materials are provided, so you just need to bring your creativity!

First Day Bike Ride at Allegany State Park 2025
First Day Bike. Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at Camp Allegany at 11:00 am on January 1, 2025. The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. Participants may split into different paced groups, if necessary. No one will be left behind. Saturday November 25th starts the first of many days Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting our house.
Santa will be escorted by the Allegany Police and Fire Department to our house, where he will greet all visitors. Basket raffles will be avaliable for people to buy tickets to help support our community event.
