Cross-Country Ski at Allegany State Park
The Art Roscoe Trail System at Allegany State Park is known as the best cross-country ski trails in Western NY and Northeastern PA.
There's approximately 24 miles of trails that are groomed on an as-needed basis. All trails begin at the Summit Warming Hut in Allegany State Park.

The interactive and informational exhibits tell the history of the Seneca, from the Creation Story to present day.

New Year's Eve Liquor Mile & 5K
Join Ellicottville Distillery as they celebrate the last day of 2023 with their annual "Liquor Mile" at on Sunday December 31st!
Distillery opens and registration for runners starts at 11am. Run starts at 12pm. It is $25 a runner to enter the 5k followed by the Liquor Mile which is $15. $35 fee if you are planning on doing both the 5K & Liquor Mile.
All proceeds will be donated to Oishei Children’s hospital.
After every quarter of a mile you get a miniature cocktail! 1 mile run + 4 drinks!

Little Valley Community Day
Kick off the summer on June 21st, 2025 when all of Main Street in Little Valley will be closed for the inaugural Little Valley Community Day! Over 30 vendors will fill the street along with food trucks, family activities, children's games, live music, bounce houses and more! The event will run from 1pm until 9pm. The Largest New York State Park is Allegany State Park which is the 3rd largest in the United States of America with 65,000 acres (97 square miles) and many miles of trails. Allegany State Park has over 35 miles of Cross Country skiing trails, 18 hiking trails and 5.6 miles of paved multi-use trails (horseback riding, snowmobiling and more) around Red House Lake area. 3 campground areas with over 375 cabins.
