A brief synopsis:

Beat the winter blues and join us for a winter filled with fun indoor and outdoor activities. Allegany State Park and the Pat McGee Trail will be bustling with activities provided by the Allegany Region Environmental Educators. 

Beaver Pond Hike- Meet at 1:00 p.m. at Camp Allegany and hike to the Bova beaver ponds and learn more about these industrious creatures.

HoliMont Contractor’s Day is an event filled with many fun activities that take place on and off the slopes.  This year’s activities include the 36th annual Dave Pitkin Memorial Ski Race, dedicated to him to commemorate his enduring spirit, his contributions to the HoliMont Racing Club, and his part in creating the racing hill, Our infamous Bombardier Ball Drop, Lunch provided by Dina’s at the Mont, A vendor market, and an Apres Ski Party. This event is sponsored by many local businesses and helps us celebrate and support our local community. Join us for our favorite day of the year!

The Silver Bells Parade will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024 starting at 6:00pm.

Join Gowanda for a great day in the village filled with classic cars, community, and fun for the whole family! Whether you’re showing off your ride or just coming to check them out, this is always one of Gowanda’s favorite events of the year.

Entry Fee: $15 per vehicle

Stroll through rows of beautiful cars, meet local owners, and enjoy a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere right in the heart of Gowanda. There will be plenty to see and something for everyone!

Awards, great cars, and community pride all in one place!

There will be three, two-person one act plays performed.

The Guerrilla Theatre Project will arrive at the sculpture park on Friday evening, then proceed to write three brand new one-act plays, audition performers, rehearse and perform the plays - all in 24 hours. The performances will take place at 7:00 p.m. at different locations at the Mill Valley Road section of the park.

Portville Central School’s Arts, Crafts, & Antiques Show returns as a one day, indoor event. It will be held at the Portville High School and will feature art, crafts, antiques and food on Saturday, November 2nd from 10:00am-5:00pm.

Proceeds collected directly benefit the students of Portville Central School in the form of achievement awards and student scholarships.

Celebrate the United States' landmark 250th birthday at Freedom Fest 2026 in Otto, New York. Taking place on August 22, 2026, this vibrant community festival offers a full day of family-friendly entertainment, local food, and classic American traditions. 

Start your Beer and Wine Festival experience a day early as you Crawl Outta Fall. Guests register in the lobby of the Tamarack Club and pick up a passport that features all the locations to visit for drink specials that evening. Registration takes place between 4 - 7PM and live music will be playing in Edna's at the Tamarack Club. Only $15 to participate.

The event will be held outside, so bring your lawn char and meet on the museum's side lawn. If it rains, the event will be held indoors.
