The NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation is hosting a FREE fishing day on February 15-16, June 28-29, September 27, and November 11th. There’s no fishing license required on those days for the fresh or marine waters of New York State, making it the opportune time for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the day. We especially encourage those with more experience to bring along the young people in their lives to show them the value of patience, the anticipation of the bite, and the exhilaration of the catch!

Join Allegany State Park on Saturday, September 27th from 9:00am-2:30pm at the Red House side of the park for a celebration of 20 years of National Public Lands Day! This nationwide event brings people together to give back to public lands through volunteer service projects.

Come celebrate the magic of the holiday season at the free, family-friendly Annual Holiday Tree lighting celebration at Seneca Allegany on Wednesday, December 3 from 4 to 7 p.m., featuring horse-drawn carriage rides from 4-7pm and a tree lighting at approximately 5:30 p.m.
