The Town of Randolph contains a hamlet called Randolph. The town also contains part of the hamlet of East Randolph, which is also partially located in the Town of Conewango.

The town of Leon, New York is known for a majority of the population being Old Order Amish.
The town of Leon, New York was formed, from the town of Conewango, on April 24, 1832. James Waterhouse named it for the ancient Kingdom of Leon of Spain.
