Through the generosity of the community businesses and organizations listed below, the City of Olean Youth Bureau & Recreation Department is offering free admission for public ice skating. There is a $3.00 skate rental fee.

Special appearance by Santa on December 24th from 12-2pm. Free admission, just a $3 rental fee!

Join the 2nd Annual Paws & Pumpkins 5K in Little Valley, NY benefiting Empire Animal Rescue Society (EARS)! Whether you're a seasoned runner or a leisurely walker, bring your family, friends, and furry companions for a morning of autumn fun. 

Event Details:

Come celebrate the proud history and traditions of Native American people at Seneca Allegany Casino. The Resort and Casino will be hosting a community dinner & social!

Enjoy Haudenosaunee social songs & dances, plus talented Native artisans & craft vendors.

Kicking off at 11am with a vendor show, a segmented group workout with Warrior Fitness trainers, Food Trucks, DJ, dunk tank, a kids carnival and lawn game tournaments!

Kick off the warmer weather with a community wellness event created with everyone in mind!

The Challenger Learning Center announced the return of their popular space quiz event! Join in to test your space knowledge and also support a local organization. The event will feature a quiz with prizes for the winning team. You can participate in a team of 2-5 players.

Apart from the quiz, we will also have raffles with exciting prizes such as a Cutco Block, a $100 gift certificate from the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce, a $50 AMC gift certificate, and more. You can still purchase raffle tickets even if you are not attending the event.

Get ready for a cozy Fall Craft Show at the Little Valley Fire Hall on November 15th, 2025, from 11am to 4pm! Enjoy delicious food, shop local, and support talented artisans.

Warrior Fitness & Wellness will be hosting The Ellicottville Turkey Trot! Start your  turkey day with your community at the Ellicottville Turkey Trot! 

• Run/walk for all fitness levels
• Costumes encouraged
• Food drive for local food banks

$20 registration. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ellicottville Playground. 

Feel good this Thanksgiving by starting your day with a non-timed 5K at St. Bonavenure University with other passionate runners and walkers! Continue that feel good feeling by knowing that the registration fee supports the local food pantry and the Every Kid Deserves the Y fund!

Registration is 8:00am - 8:45am at Murphy Hall. Race starts at 9:00am.

This is a free event to come visit Santa in his beautifully decorated Santa House with Elf Shack behind selling basket raffle tickets to help support this yearly tradition. Raffle tickets will be drawn after the event.

Come help start off the holiday season downtown with local merchants, train rides all day, Annual tree lighting ceremony, Holiday Spirit Parade and a festive atmosphere for the whole family. Limestone Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Car Show on July 12th from 9am until 4pm in front of and inside the Limestone Firemen's Club. There will also be a Chinese auction and serve food at the community center.

Gowanda's Historic Hollywood Theater presents Mike Randall as Mark Twain on Sunday, September 29th from 2-4pm. 

 Mike is a veteran Twain impersonator; he brings to life a side of Twain's personality that is often neglected!
